Service Engineer

Position Overview:

As a Service Engineer, your main responsibility will be to provide technical support for photovoltaic installations, primarily in Portugal.

Among your duties are:

• Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, TCP/IP, Ethernet, RS485).
• Availability to conduct on-site technical visits, including support and commissioning.
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients, provide training, and explain technical issues or solutions.
• A service-oriented attitude, focusing on delivering high-quality support and maintaining professionalism in critical situations.

Essential requirements for this position:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in providing technical support for photovoltaic installations (experience with leading inverter brands is a plus).
• Expertise in sizing photovoltaic installations and understanding different system topologies.
• Previous experience in the energy sector is highly recommended.
• Language skills: Portuguese and English (Spanish is a plus).
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in computer tools, especially Office Suite and photovoltaic sizing software.
• Ability to make presentations to clients and teams.
• Availability to travel.
